Debbie Walton is an Associate Director of Publication Management in the Global Scientific and Medical Publications group at Merck and Co, Inc. She has been in the group for 7 years and is currently the lead Publication Manager for Gardasil/Gardasil 9, Ervebo, and Vaxelis. In this role, she is responsible for development and execution of the publication plan, development and implementation of the scientific communication platform, development of publication processes, and training and adherence to industry and company publication policies and practices. Debbie is also an ISMPP-Certified Medical Publication Professional. She received a BS in Biology from Eastern University, and a MS in Healthcare Financial Management/MBA in Healthcare Administration from Temple University.  Prior to publication management, Debbie worked as a clinical scientist supporting Merck’s Cardiovascular Franchise, and a Relationship Manager supporting Strategic Clinical Trial Partnerships.
